Privacy Policy

This policy contains the rules applicable to the collection and processing of personal data by CODE4PEOPLE in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (GDPR).  These rules do not override any clauses that are subject to specific agreement with any customer, partner, or vendor. In such a case, this policy may supplement such documents, but may not replace them. Holder or user are terms used indistinctly in this Policy to designate the holder of the personal data.

What is personal data?

According to the personal data of the EU General Data Protection Policy (GDPR), it is defined as: “Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“holder of the information”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.”

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

CODE4PEOPLE is a software factory and provides development services. To do so, CODE4PEOPLE needs to collect personal data for the following purposes:

  • Compliance with the provision of contracted services;
  • Respond to requests for information regarding your services;
  • Commercial communications, provided that you have given your consent and have not refused to use your contacts for that purpose.
What personal data do we collect?

CODE4PEOPLE collects the following categories of personal data: First name, surname, taxpayer number, address, telephone number, email address.

CODE4PEOPLE has access to personal data by the data subject by completing the forms made available on the website or through email; The information marked on the forms with a * is mandatory. The non-provision of information marked as mandatory will result in the impossibility of analyzing the requested information and/or the impossibility of providing the requested services, as applicable.

To whom do we transmit your data?

Personal data is processed by CODE4PEOPLE ‘s administrative services and may be transmitted to external entities providing services to CODE4PEOPLE, and the contractual relationship is governed by the contract in which the security and organisation of treatment measures are defined and in which it is specified that it only acts on instructions from CODE4PEOPLE. The data may also be disclosed to public entities if necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation.

  • Transfer of data outside the European Union

No data is transferred outside the European Union.

How long do we keep your data?

CODE4PEOPLE will keep the data collected for 12 months. Personal data relating to the performance of the contract are kept for 5 years after the termination of the contract. However, you may have to retain certain data for a longer period for the purpose of complying with legal obligations.
In addition to this period, some data may be retained for file or statistical purposes, for which they will first be anonymized.

How do we protect your data?

CODE4PEOPLE will maintain data security by protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data. To ensure data security, you have adopted technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized use or access, modification, unlawful or accidental destruction, and accidental loss, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.

What are the rights of data subjects?

The data subject has, at any time, the right of access, rectification, updating or deletion of his personal data, as well as the rights of limitation and opposition to the processing thereof.
The data subject can exercise any of these rights in writing through the email privacy@code4people.eu and will be asked to confirm their identification that can be made through the presentation of citizen card or passport.
